Imphal, February 05, 2009: The Shirui Non-Violence Committee, Shirui village has extended its heartfelt gratitude to all the villages, Churches, civil society organizations and individuals of the Naga community for standing by them during the 15 days siege of the village.

In a statement, the Committee acknowledged the prayers, financial and material support and taking part in the vigil even during the night.
