Imphal, May 02 2009: NOT LONG after the explosion of a bomb at the residence of retired government servant Dr Bilashini at Thangmeiband Hijam Leikai, a hand grenade was exploded at her residence yesterday by unidentified miscreants around 6.30 for the second time.

However, no human casualty has been reported like in the previous instance.

A Maruti Van (MN 01/K-8053) was damaged by the splinters of the bomb, according to report.

Meanwhile, a Chinese made hand grenade planted by unknown miscreants at the residence of a Chief Engineer of the Minor Irrigation department, Moirangthem Shyambabu at Tera Sapam Leikai was neutralised by bomb experts yesterday around 5.30 in the morning.

At the same time, another bomb planted on a road near Lamlai Police station in Imphal West was defused by BSF personnel after a patrol party of the force came across it yesterday around 11.30am.
