Imphal, May 26 2009: One of two youths killed by troops of 34 AR yesterday at Thoubal Khunou under Thoubal police has been identified today as Chingakham Manimohon (21) son of Ch Gambhir of Yairipok Poirou Khongjin.

According to family source, Manimohon was picked by four persons in civil dress coming on a Maruti Altro car while he was standing near a shop of the locality at around 2.30 pm.

The number plate of the vehicle was found concealed by painting with mud.

He had around Rs 10,000 in his pocket which he kept for meeting expenditure for construction of house and buying wood.

The charged level against him as PREPAK by the police is a baseless one, expressed the family members who turned up to collect the dead body at RIMS morgue.

After performing post mortem, the dead body has been taken by the family for last rites today.
