Imphal, March 24 2009: The youth shot dead by troops of 29 AR in a reported encounter at Leibi under Tengnoupal police station of Chandel district in the night of March 20 has been identified as Thokchom Mohen (16) s/o late Kunje of Wangoo Makha Leikai.

According to family members, he left home about six months back.

Since then, there has been no communication with the family.

The corpse has been handed over to family members after post mortem at RIMS today.
