Imphal, December 22 2008: In an act of intimidation, unidentified gunmen reportedly opened fire several rounds at the Sunusiphai Mayai Leikai residence of former State Minister Laishram Kerani in Bishnupur district in the intervening night of yesterda\y and today.

The doors, windows and walls of the house bore bullet marks though no one was hurt in the attack.

Police have recovered empty cases of pistol and AK-Rifles.
