Imphal, June 21 2009: Two detenues under National Security Act, presently lodged at Shajiwa Jail, are likely to take into custody by the police for interrogation in connection with the abduction and subsequent murder of Y Krishnadas on June 12 last.

The two arrested Under Trial Prisoners have been identified as Ningthoujam Jiten alias Angang alias Chaoba (20) son of N Yaima of Keirenphabi Mamang Leikai and who had been staying at Lamphel Sana keithel, and Laishram Gouramani alias Guru (27), son of L Rajen, who moved from Kongba Laishram Leikai to Sagolband Moirang Hanuba Leirak.

The two inmates have been arrested following the revelation made by Thokchom Nando, who has been in police custody for interrogation as per a Court order on June 17 last, a source said.
