Imphal, February 09 2010: A hotel worker employed at OK Hotel, Thangal bazar, identified as W Thohii (31), who sustained injuries in an accidental firing by a personnel of Imphal West district police commando on January 27, has succumbed to his injuries at about 11 am today at CMC Hospital, Koirengei.

The deceased hotel worker hailed from Liyai Khullen in Senapati district.

The dead body has been kept at RIMS morgue.

The City Police had already filed a suo motu case in the incident.

However, police have not divulged the name of the police personnel, from whose carbine a bullet was accidentally fired.
