Imphal, December 28 2009: Kh Joychandra, Manager of Click Communication, a franchisee of AIRTEL, who had been reported missing since going out from home on December 17, was rescued during an operation launched jointly by Imphal East police, Imphal West police and Assam Rifles today at about 7.30 pm at Mapao village.

In the follow up action a combined force of Imphal West Cdos and 39 AR killed two UG cadres, suspected to be involved in the kidnapping of the two Airtel staff at Mapao village today at about 9.30 pm.

One AK-56 rifle and one 9 mm pistol have been recovered, said sources.
