Imphal, November 22: The State Govt has today submitted a counter affidavit on the Mis-case filed by the Assam Rifles against the recent verdict of CJM Imphal which rejected the AR plea to match the DNA profile found on Manorama's petticoat with the blood samples collected from AR personnel.

Govt Advocate Th Ibohal Singh (High Court) submitted the counter affidavit before the Principal.

Seat of the Guwahati High Court, a reliable source said.

Mention may be made here that before filing this Misc-case by the AR the latter had already challenged the constitution of the State sponsored Manorama Death Inquiry Commission.
