folks of Keishamthong area staged sit-in-protest at Keishamthong Keithel under the aegis of Keishamthong Nupi Lup.

The protestors, who staged the dharna from around 10 am till late afternoon also put up banners denouncing continuation of AFSPA and security force excesses and later pledged to take part in agitation till the people's demands are conceded.
