Imphal, November 09 2008: One suspected UG cadre has been killed in a reported encounter with Imphal West commandos near Sanjenbam under Wangoi police station at about 5.30 pm today.

The slain UG cadre could not be identified till the time of filing this report.

The corpse has been deposited at RIMS mortuary, informed a police source.

One 9 mm pistol, five live rounds and a red colour Bajaj Pulsar have been recovered from the slain individual.

Another individual who reportedly came together with the slain cadre has also been arrested, informed the police source adding that they might be KCP (MC) cadres.
