Imphal, December 07 2009: Unidentified armed persons exploded a hand grenade at the Thongju Pechu Lampak residence of Sanasam Lokendra, an Executive Engineer in Public Health Engineering Department, at around 6.15 pm today.

Police said some portion of the house suffered damages though there is no human casualty.

One Chinese made hand grenade was also found near the residential gate of Lokendra in the morning o December 2 .

The bomb was subsequently retrieved and detonated.
