Imphal, June 06 2009: A 27-year old youth was found shot dead by unidentified armed persons at Wangkhei Yo-nglan Leirak along Ayangpalli Road under Porompat Police Station at around 7.10 pm yesterday.

According to police report, the victim has been identified as Chanam Bishwarjit (27) s/o Chanam Nilbir of Kongba Laishram Leikai.

There were two fatal bullet marks on his stomach and neck.

Police have picked up the body and deposited at the mortuary of RIMS.
