Imphal, November 04 2008: A bomb lobbed by un-identified gunmen exploded at the New Checkon Mandap Leirak residential compound of Elangbam Budhichandra who works as a UDC in the Manipur Development Society late evening today.

According to police, no one was injured in the bomb attack.

On the other hand, bomb experts of the Police Department retrieved an unexploded hand grenade that was reportedly lobbed inside the Chingmeirong Mamang Leikai residential compound of EE of Engineering Cell of the State Education Department Koijam Gyaneshore at around 10.30 am today.
