Imphal, May 26 2009: Condemnations of the killing of Prof Islamuddin continue to pour in with a multitude of organisations coming out strongly against the brutal killing.

The North East Economic Association, ViceChancellor and faculties of Tripura University and Dibugarh University, Assam have strongly condemned the murder of Economics Professor Islamuddin.

They also shared the grief of the bereaved family.

The MPCC, Minority Department, CPI Manipur State Council, NCP Manipur Pradesh, RJD Manipur, Lok Janshakti Party Manipur State and MP Thangso Baite unit have also decried the killing.

The MSF, Delhi Association of Manipur Muslim Students Delhi, All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA), Kuki Students' Organisation, Imphal Branch, SFI Manipur State Committee, Meitei Mayek 36 Sandokpa Luplel have condemned the killing in the strongest term.

Poirei Ita Meira Paibi Manipur, Manipur Keithel Phambi Apunba Lup (MAKPAL), Apunba Nupi Khunai Lamjing Meira Lup Yairipok, Chingleima Lup, Kha-Nongpok Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, Bamon Kampu and Chanura Lam-chinglel Kangleipak (CLK) also decried the killing.

Zeliangrong Union (AMN), Singjamei to Lilong United Clubs' Organisation (SLUCO), Thangmeiband and Uripok United Clubs' Organisation (TUCO), All Yairipok United Clubs Organisation (AYUCO), United Clubs Organisation (UCO) Urup and United Clubs Organisation (UCO) Golapati Hatta, also conveyed strongest condemnation against the killing.

All Manipur Youth Protection Committee (AMYPCO), Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN), ACOAM-Lup Kangleipak, International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) and Manipur Sahitya Parishad also joined the outcry.
