Imphal, June 09 2009: Chanam Bishorjit Singh alias Bonny alias Chingkhei (27) s/o Ch Nilbir of Kongba Laishram Leikai was penalised by KCP (MC) for collection of money in the name of the outfit from Government Departments, particularly PWD, Minor Irrigation and PHED in collusion with some engineers, said a press release issued by the outfit's information and public relation officer Puranthaba.

Bishorjit was found shot dead at Wangkhei Yonglan Leirak along Ayangpalli road on June 6 .

Chanam Bishorjit alias Bonny together with O Warish (29) of Lilong and Laiba (33) of Kwakeithel Mayai Koibi were warned in the presence of their family members against their anti-party activities in the first week of March this year, Puranthaba said.

The two other individuals and engineers involved in swindling money in the name of the outfit would be attacked at the first available opportunity without any warning.

Observing that the killing of Prof Islamuddin inside MU campus was most unfortunate, the KCP (MC) asserted that Prof Md Islamuddin's murder was an irreparable loss to the society.

The outfit further declared ban on all contract works being executed along Leishang Hiden, near MU.
