Imphal, October 05 2009: The KCP (MC) Lamyanba Khuman has claimed that its cadres attacked the AR post at Singda Dam in Salang village from 7.30 am to 10 am today and inflicted heavy casualties resulting in the death of 6 AR personnel and injuries to 15 others.

In a statement, information and public relations officer of the outfit, Puranthaba today asserted that the attack was carried out after careful planning for two weeks.

The attack was launched from three directions, said the outfit and added that the cadres used heavy and sophisticated weapons.

The KCP (MC) cadres will never let go an opportunity to inflict losses on the enemy, claimed the outfit.

However, the Army has refuted the claim of the outfit.

When contacted the officiating PRO of the Army said that no such incident occured today.

The outfit further claimed that it was behind the attack at S Kumar Hospital, Porompat.
