Imphal, March 01 2009: The proscribed KCP (MC) has condoled the demise of comrade Sgt Maj Kenny alias Sikin (33) s/o late Laishram Nungshitombi Meitei of Thamnapokpi Mayai Leikai and comrade Thaja alias Jadumani (40) s/o late Ashangbam Rabei of Maiba Khul Mamang Leikai.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's military affairs secretary Lanheiba Meitei, the two comrades were pulled up from Kyamgei road at about 6.55 pm of February 27 before they were done to death in an alleged fake encounter at Lamlong bridge at about 8.15 pm.

Conveying that the party's CSC and KFLs condoled and prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls at the its GHqs and zonal/unit camps, Lanheiba claimed that hundreds of cadres are ever-ready to lay down their lives in the struggle to regain the lost sovereignty of Kangleipak.

Admitting that it is no easy task to wage a successful revolutionary movement, the outfit noted that it's time for the public and media to look into the rampant being perpetrated by security personnel in alleged fake encounters in their pursuit for medals and awards.

Taking serious note of the declining male population of Manipur, the outfit asked who would be the loser if insurgents respond to family members of those security personnel standing up against the revolutionary movement in the same manner as they (security personnel) are doing to insurgents.

Questioning how much security can be provided by security personnel to Congress workers and Government officials, the outfit stated that the success or failure of Operation Red Fox will be seen soon in the battle between KFLs and security forces.

The outfit also sought public support towards Op Red Fox while conveying gratitude to all those who provided instant information.
