Imphal, November 01 2009: The three AR personnel killed in an ambush launched by MPA cadres near Aibol village of Khengjoy area in Chandel district last morning have been identified.

They were Subedar Ramesh Bahadur Thapa s/o Lil Bahadur Thappa from Nepal, Lance Naik Anupkumar Biswas s/o Ajitkumar Biswas from West Bengal and Havildar Samuel Kuti s/o M George from Kerala.

After completion of post mortem examination at RIMS today, the corpse of Samuel Kuti was taken to his native state today.

However, the corpses of Anupkumar and Ramesh Bahadur Thapa are still lying at RIMS mortuary.

They may be taken to their native places tomorrow.
