DBS announces free education

Imphal, February 01 2010: Don Bosco High School Phayeng has assured free education to the surviving three children of Angom Chanbi of Phayeng upto class X .

Angom Chanbi was found murdered after being raped together with her eldest daughter Meneka on January 23 at paddy field at Phayeng not far from their house.

The surviving three children��Sonika (13), Dingku (9) and Rita (6) as well as late Meneka were all studying in Don Bosco High School Phayeng.

The three orphaned children are currently staying together with their grand-father who unfortunately is suffering from paralysis.

Teachers of Don Bosco School Phayeng today announced that the three kids, Sonika, Dingku and Rita would be given education free of cost in the school till class X .

On the other hand, the JAC constituted against the brural murder of the mother-daughter duo has resolved to launch various modes of agitation against the failure of the Government to book the culprits.

The JAC decried the inability of the Government to track down the murderers.

However, the State Government has given assurance to bear healthcare and education expenses of the three children.
