The three men were said to have gone inside the Royal Rajdhani bus being parked outside the gate of Ayub Khan's residence.

The three masked men overpowered one Yusub Ali (22), son of Tayeb Ali of Sangai Yumpham, who was then inside the bus.

They seized the mobile phone of Yusub Ali by gunpoint.

Then two of them entered inside the house of Ayub Khan and they handed a piece of paper containing telephone number to the wife of Khan.

Family members of Ayub Khan said the KCP (MC) Wanglen Khuman Group had served them a monetary demand of Rs 3 lakh recently.
