Imphal, September 21 2009: Apparently referring to the arrest of some persons in connection with the abortive car-bomb attack at Raj Bhavan on September 18, the proscribed KCP (MC) alleged that the state police have been victimising the innocent persons for no fault of theirs.

They are not related to the car-bomb plan in any manner, asserted a press release issued by the outfit's military affairs secretary Lanheiba Meitei.

The bomb attacks at Babupara, Pandol, Chingmeriong, 2nd MR liquor outlet and the Raj Bhavan were all carried out by the KFL's 5th Unit Special Demo Team, it claimed.

Alleging that some individuals of the land have been killing their own people in the garb of security personnel, the outfit asserted that this was a gift of the Government of India.

The birth and nurturing of new outfits is also a means adopted by the Government of India to suppress the revolutionary movement.

There have been several instances when extortionists rounded up or overpowered by people turned out to be security personnel, it pointed out.

All those genuine revolutionaries but working under several armed groups which have been scheming to malign the image of KCP(MC) would be identified and taken into the fold of the outfit within a short time, it said.

The car-bomb planted inside the Raj Bhavan was not targeting anyone but Gurbachan Jagat, it clarified.

The explosives fitted in the car was above 50 kgs in weight.

It also contained seven 'hand-bombs' including Chinese hand grenades, six detonators and three mobile phone hand-sets for use as mobile remote device, it disclosed.

State security personnel would be knowing well why the explosive was not blown up.

Had the explosive been triggered, the surrounding area in the radius of 50 feet would have been pulverised, the outfit claimed.

The car-bomb was waiting for a single target, it added.
