Imphal, April 19 2009: A joint meeting of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) and editors strongly condemned the firing attack at the Bashikhong Kongba Irong residence of AMWJU general secretary Biren Yambem at about 7 pm today.

The meeting also appealed to all concerned to own and explain attack at the residence of the general secretary who has been working day and night for the welfare of journalists.
