Imphal, October 30 2008: The Fact Finding Committee constituted by the State Government to probe the burning down of an inter-State bus at Lahorijan, Assam on October 23 by KLO/KLA in which two passengers were charred to death would be submitting its report within two weeks.

As per an order issued by Under Secretary (Home Department) Amalkumar, the Fact Finding Committee will be headed by Commissioner H Devsekhar and will comprise of IG (L/O-I) M Karnajit as member.

The Committee would be assisted by Assistant Commander of 2nd IRB Bijanda.

The Committee would submit its investigation report to the Government within two weeks along with recommendations considered crucial to prevent such crimes in future.

Meanwhile, Dr Sh Raghumani has been given charge of Director, Family Welfare by an order issued by Department of Personnel today.
