Imphal, November 23, 2009: A public meeting held today at Chingmeirong in connection with the merciless beaten to dead of aged old farmer Ng Kuber while pressing the government authority to book culprits at the earliest has decided to turn out any persons of the locality is found involved in the murder incident.

The meeting also formed a JAC to translate the resolution taken in the meeting into action but resolved to receive the dead body of Kuber and performed the last rites.

The resolutions of the meetings were to press the government to book the culprits at the earliest, if any of persons of the locality found involved in the murder case to turn out him or her from the locality forever and government provision of ex-gratia compensation to the deceased family.

The meeting also strongly condemned the act of the KCP(MC), Sangai Rajen group for the cruel crime against the old man.
