Imphal, October 01 2009: The dead body of Konsam Sanajaoba (38) son of K Shanti of Khurai Konsam Leikai Ipum Khongban shot dead by miscreant at a spot between Chingjao and Nungei under Lilong police station has been received by the family after postmortem today.

The dead body was taken by the family for performing his last rites after a thorough consultation with the JAC formed in connection with the killing of Sanajaoba.

No agreement was brought about with regard to the demands put forward by the JAC.

Meanwhile, the JAC today submitted a memorandum to the chief minister to extend help to the family of the deceased from the government side said members of the JAC reiterating the demands of the JAC which was put up to the government.
