Imphal, May 21 2009: Two persons including a woman sustained injury when a bomb hurled by miscreants at a house at Khurai Konsam Leikai under Porompat police station went off tonight at around 8.10 pm.

The bomb was hurled by the miscreants to the house of Laitongbam Pishak, a fertilizer dealer.

Earlier also there were instant of attacking his house with guns.

Family could not know which group responsible for the bomb attack but sometime back there was an instant threatening Pishak on the demand of Rs 2 or 3 lakhs by one particular underground outfit, family members said.

The injured woman was identified as Laitongbam ongib Sandyarani (32) wife of L Hemanta and Laitongbam Suraj (23) son of Pishak.

Sandyarani sustained splinter injury at the left hand while Suraj sustained left calf.

They have been admitted at RIMS hospital for medical treatment.
