KYKL offers salute

Imphal, May 18 2009: The proscribed KYKL while owing that the two youths killed by a combined force of Imphal west police commandos and troops of 12 Maratha Light Infantry on May 15 at Mayang Imphal Konchak were "militia" of the outfit alleged that they were killed in "fake encounter".

A statement of the outfit signed by itsdeputy secretary, publicity and research Apabi Mangang today also expressed proud of the revolutionary spirit of the two militia, Yendrembam Shyamkumar alias Boy (22) son of Y Ibomcha of Wahengkhuman Mamang Leikai and Yumnam Bangkim alias Nganba (22) son of late Tayumngan of Mayang Imphal Ani Longbi stating that they had work sincerely for the outfit till last minute of their dead.

KYKL has given revolutionary salute as mark of respect to the souls of the two militias, stated the statement while expressing share to the shocks bereaved families on the untimely dead.

Boy and Nganba had been picked by some persons in civil dress from a house at Leimapokpam Khunpham while they are getting ready to have meal at around 9.30 am of the day and killed in the afternoon at around 4.30 pm of the same day at Mayang Imphal Konchak, the statement claimed observing that it is well known by the people of the state how much the security forces tell lies to the people.

One day, they will get the fruit of not respecting men by men and violation of rights of the people.

There is no reason for getting the result of it, the statement went to state.
