Imphal, October 07 2009: Lost of three precious cadres and taking away of huge weapons and ammunitions feels disappointment to the group but it does not hurt the morals of the group, expressed Anand, Public Relation Officer, Military Defense Force (MDF) in a statement today while terming the Laimaram incident in which three of its cadres were killed along with two other civilian by the security force on October 4 last.

The three cadres of the MDF have laid down their life in the two times gun battles at Laimaram and its adjoining area.

Two civilians were also killed by the security force in the clashes, the statement recalled and expressed offering revolutionary salutes to the slain cadres and sharing to the shocks suffered by the families of two civilians.

The three slain cadres L/C Kh Ingocha alias Ton (24) son of Jugin of Kakching Irung Mapal, Private Kh Sunder alias Rocky son of Kh Somendro of Pukhao and Lakal alias Khongjom son of Ibocha of Leimakhong Mamang Leikai were important cadres of the group.

The activities performed by them for the group will remain forever, the statement went on to state.

Wahengbam Lalito (45) son of Nilakomol of Thinungei Makha Leikai who Bishnupur SP claimed as cadre of MDF is not true, he had no link with the group, the statement denounced adding that he was a man doing wood business and came together with the DI Tata.
