Ragailong blast remembered

Imphal, October 21 2009: Victims of Ragailong blast were remembered today on the completion of a year since the occurence of the incident that claimed life of at least 18 people and injured to more than 16 others.

Candles were lighted that site where the blast took place under the aegis of the JAC Against the Bomb Blast at the place between AR Transti Camp and Commando Complex near Ragailong gate, Imphal.

While lamenting that seven injure vicitms of the incident are yet to get compensation from the state government, the JAC appealed the government to avail thebenefits to the suffered victms at the earliest.

Three of the injured victims are yet to undergo must needed operation to due financial problem, the JAC in a statement today lamented.

At the same time, the JAC also thanks those individuals and government who provided releif materials and money to the vicitms.
