Organised under the joint aegis of the family members of the victim and the authority of Little Flower School, sister Lucy Gangmei of the school led the congregation, which include students of the school, teachers, parents and bereaved family members, in praying for peaceful repose of the departed soul in its heavenly abode.

The congregation also observed two minutes as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

Speaking at the occasion father of Baby Lungnila Elizabeth and former Minister Francis Ngajokpa pointed out that prevailing law and order problem in the State has affected the students in their study.

So it is high time for every section of the society to join hand and work toward solving this problem.

Expressing serious concern over closure of schools for over three months now in the State thus depriving education of the students, Ngajokpa said that it difficult to say what the future of the students would in such a situation.

In the interest of the future generation of the State, students should be allowed to have their normal classes, he noted.
