Imphal, July 20 2009: Employees of the RIMS Hospital, Imphal today staged a sit-in protest at the hospital campus registering a strong protest against the gun firing incident near the RIMS Blood Bank on July 17 last.

The sit-in protest commenced from around 2 pm ended at around 3 pm and participated by its medical superintendent Dr Y Mohen.

He said even though no casualty received, the gun firing towards the blood bank was an act of coward people.

If the act was that of revolutionary organizations, they could be term as group who do not know the ideology of being a revolutionary.

None of the underground outfit so far clarified on the reason behind the gun firing, he added.
