Imphal, November 18 2008: THE JOINT Action Committee (JAC) against the Ragailong bomb blast and the family members of blast victims will hold a meeting on November 21 at the community hall of Ragailong Youth Club, Imphal at 9 am.

The meeting will discuss over the issue of non-fulfillment of the promise aids by the government to the family members of the blast victims.

The JAC in a press statement mentioned that the chief minister in a talk with the JAC had agreed to sanction all aids to the families of the victims by November 3 but on the contrary, the same is not converted into action till date.

The act of the government is a call for social turmoil in state and it will be taken seriously by the JAC, it said.

In case of non-compliance to the promise made by the state government of providing aids to the families of blast victims within December 24, the JAC will declare general strike from the December 25, the statement warned.
