Imphal, January 19 2009: A RECONNAISSANCE team of the UNLF's MPA on Sunday night has destroyed a four-man sentry post of the Assam Rifles located at Khenjang village located after tracking around an hour from the Molcham police station of Chandel and inflicted casualties to the four AR men, claimed a statement of the department of publicity, UNLF today.

The ambush was conducted when the "recc team" discovered the sentry post while going to attack the AR camp at Khenjang.

The sentry post located only some distance away from the AR camp, it added.

The statement also further said that even though the top officials of the Indian security forces claimed clear of militants from the area and kept under their control, the security men in the security camps are feeling fear of when the MPA will attack on them.

On thinking this, many jawans committed suicide as they are in restless while stationing in the said camps.
