KCP(MC) own up Bishorijt killing

Imphal, June 09 2009: KPC (MC) today owned up the killing of Chanam Bishorijt alias Chingkhei stating that he got the punishment which he would have get for the wrong, he had committed against the party's warning.

A statement of KCP (MC) signed by its Information and public relation officer, Puranthaba dispatched to the media today recalled that in the first week of March this year, three persons who allegedly involved in collection of money in the name of the group from the government departments were freed after giving warning not to repeat the activities.

The three persons handed over to their respective families by the group were Chanam bishorjit alias Bonny alias Chingkhei (27) son of Ch Nilbir of Kongba Laishram Leikai, Imphal east, O Warish (29) of Lilong and Laiba (33) of Kwakeithel Mayai Leikai Koibi.

Despite the warning Bishorjit in collusion with some engineers of the PWD, Minor Irrigation, PHED siphoned of 50% funds for various projects in the name of paying to the KCP(MC).

He has been given the punishment for violating the restriction of the group and disrespect of the party, the statement added.

The party will take up action against those involved in the siphoning of the funds in the name of giving to the party without prior warning to them.

People will not take wrongly to the party while taking up the action to those persons involved, may be engineer of the departments, the statement went on to state while seeking public co-operation.

The killing of professor, Md Islamuddin of MU was an unfortunate one and his demise will leave a hole that never been able to mend up, the group stated.

The party also announced banning of all contract works related with the improvement works on the stretch of the road from Leishang hiden Khong to Manipur University gate.

If any of the concern s violated the warning, any untoward incident arising out of it will be their own responsibility, the party stated.
