Imphal, May17 2009: The relay hunger strike launched by the Sharmila Kanba Lup at PDA Complex, Porompat, as a part of 'save Sharmila' campaign has completed 159 days on Sunday.

Around 30 Meira Paibee members from Soibam Leikai Khanglabung Leirak have participated in today's relay hunger strike at Porompat.

The hunger strike has been launched since December 10 last year to show solidarity with the anti-AFSPA crusader Irom Sharmila Chanu and a part of the campaign to save her life.
