Imphal, June 13 2009: Two unidentified gunmen had shot at a driver of a Bolero Car and seized his vehicle around noon on June 11 last at a place under Jesami Police Station in Ukhrul district, a belated police report said.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as TS Leihol (35) son of (L) TS Leiram of Ukhrul Viewland.

According to the report, the two gunmen had hired the vehicle to take a trip till Jesami from Ukhrul headquarters.

The black colour Bolero vehicle driver was assaulted and later a bullet was pumped on his body at a place after crossing Kharasom.

The injured Leihol was later came across by BRTF personnel and admitted to a private clinic in Ukhrul.
