Imphal, November 03 2008: A PRADHAN who had been abducted by some unknown persons was found killed today evening around 4.30 at Lilong Nungei Dolaithabi Ataobi Chingya under Lilong police station, local sources said.

The pradhan of the Irong Chesaba Gram Panchayat, Md Juma Khan (34) son of Md Pishak of Mayang Imphal was reportedly abducted from Khekman Awang Leikai Litan Mathak.

According to his family, he went to the office of Thoubal Deputy Commissioner this morning on his scooter (NV Vespa, MN-04-5393).He was seen in the office of deputy commissioner till 3 pm evening.

He was abducted on his way home said the family and killed later at an area of Lilong Nungei Dolaithabi Ataobi Chingya under Lilong police station at around 5.38 pm evening.

The body has three bullets, two in the head and one in the neck.

Whereabouts of his scooter could not trace out.

Meanwhile, residence of Irong Chesaba in the aftermath of the incident formed a local JAC and preparing to submit a memorandum to the chief minister tomorrow.
