Imphal, May 29 2009: The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has condoled the death of Prof Md Islamuddin.

A press release issued today by Aheiba Angom, Secretary-in-Charge, Department of Publicity and Propaganda, PREPAK stated that Prof Islamuddin had not only taken significant role in the student community and Kanglei soceity but was also a teacher who had the quality of guiding the students in such a way that they had closer and amicable relations with each others.

Aheiba Angom stated that the death of such a distinguished professor like Md Islamuddin is not only a great loss for the student community and Manipur University but also a great loss for Kangleipak which can not be filled up again.

The party sincerely shares the grief suffered by the family, students and people, he stated.
