Imphal, April 24 2009: TWO OUT of the three persons who were killed in different incidents that took place on April 23 are able to be identified.

The person killed in what the security forces claimed as encounter with the combined forces of Bishnupur Police Commandos and 4/8 GR at a place under the Loktak Police Station is able to be identi-fied as Ningombam Surjit alias Loya (32) a resident of Wabagai Hiyanglam.

According to his family members, he was arrested by personnel who came in civil as well as uniformed dresses on the late night of April 18 last from his aunt's house at Moirang Pansang Leikai.

He joined the outfit of PREPAK seven years ago and after being in jail for long time he was released on February 2009 .

One out of the two bodies of the persons who was killed at Yubraj Pali, under Irilbung Police Station in an encounter with a combined force of Imphal East Police Commandos and 28 AR had been identified as Thounaojam Sunil alias Loya (19) a resident of Nungoi Litan Bridge.

A report said that he had been a member of PREPAK in past and got married recently.
