Imphal, July 12 2009: Around 40 members of Nambol Phoijing Chingjin Meira Paibi staged at the relay hunger strike organized by Sharmila Kanba Lup (SAKAL) at the PDA Complex of Porompat in its 215 th day today said a statement of SAKAL issued by its Co Convener, K Taruni.

Convener of SAKAL, AK Janaki talked on AFSPA in detail as a resource person during the occasion.

On the other hand, the relay hunger strike of Thoubal district which is also organize by SAKAL has completed 157 days today.

Around 150 members of Kakching Shumang Leikai and Kakching Irumpal staged at the hunger strike.

Co Convener of SAKAL, Nirmala delivered speech on the "Condition of Manipur since 1980" said the statement.
