Imphal, May 26 2009: The dead body of L Satish killed by security forces in controversial circumstance has finally disposed by the Imphal Municipality as unclaimed body today as the family refused to accept the body.

The dead body of Satish of Singjamei Oinam Thingel has been lying unclaimed at RIMS morgue after family with the support of the local refused to accept the dead body alleging that he was killed in extra judicial manner.

Satish who was picked up along with one of his local friend Pebam Gunindro alias Gunen on the way back from Sajiwa jail was killed at Laikot Ching under Lamlai police station in the later day by a combined force of Thoubal police commandos and troops of 23 Assam Rifles.

The dead body was disposed at the public crematorium at Minuthong Hatta by the authority of the Imphal municipality complying with the order issued by the Imphal east district magistrate.

The cremation was performed at 4.45 pm.

The dead body has been lying unclaimed as the Committee on the Killing of L Satish has failed to bring an amicable agreement with the state government remaining stick to their stand by both sides.Father of the Satish had handed over the responsibility of the dead body of his son to the committee lamenting that in the court of the chief minister Ibobi's government there is no place for poor people and for better end of the spade of killing of people by the security forces in fake encounter.
