Imphal, September 24 2009: State Information Minister, TN Haokip and Irrigation and Flood Control minister, N Biren today jointly appealed the media houses to take utmost care in publishing news and photographs which may create violence protest taking into account of the prevailing bad law and order situation.

Speaking to media persons, TN Haokip appealed to the editors to thoroughly discussed on the merit and demerit of the news report before filling the report, abide strictly expressing hope that media will go hand in hand with the government at the crucial timing of the state.

Minister, Biren said, government will never treat the media differently and keep respect to the media and appealed the media to take outmost care on statement dispatch by unregistered bodies and don't know details of the body dispatching the statement.
