Imphal, January 29 2009: A YOUTH named Kakyenbam Chinglen (21), son of Bobo of Sairem Khun abducted by some unknown person on Tuesday from his home left with bullets injuries at the chest and hand last night.

Chinglen was abducted by the some unidentified from a Atongba Khuman School ground while watching thabal chongba on Tuesday night.

His brother's friend Laishram Jiten (28) who went in search of him was shot at to injure at the right chest yesterday morning at around 7.30 am at Tairenpokpi under Lamshang police station and has been hospitalizing at Shija Hospital where Chinglen also brought up.

According to the family, Chinglen rushed to a brick field at Sairem Khun last night at around 10.30 pm with sustained bullet injuries at his left chest and at the hand.

He was immediately evacuated at Shija hospital last night itself.

The family source also said that some two years back, in an instant Chinglen was rescuedfrom the hands of the undergrounds by the police commandos after killing two among the abductors in a shoot out incident at Haorang Sabal under Lamshang police station.

The family is yet to know the reason behind the shooting to injure of Chinglen.
