Imphal, October 28 2008: A MOB Tuesday dismantled a house cum shop at Sugunu Bazar in interior Thoubal district belonging to a man who allegedly involved in carrying out a village who was later killed as suspected militant by a combined force of Assam Rifles and police commandos in what they claimed to be in encounter on October 23 last.

Laishram Premananda of Sugnu Wapokpi who was among the five persons shot dead by a combined force at Heingang Marjing Ching in Imphal east on October 23 .

Villagers of Sugunu have been alleging that he was killed by the security forces in fake encounter after picking up from somewhere on the same day.

They said he had gone out from one day ahead of killing with an IRB personnel and another village youth.

Over the matter, yesterday also the house of the IRB man named Thokchom Muhindro posting at IRB post at Sugunu was burnt down by the villagers last night at around 9 pm.

Today also the mob totally dismantled house cum shop of a village youth named Khaidem Deban who was with the slain youth on that day located Sugunu Bazar.

Official reports said that villagers in large number rushed to the shop cum house and dismantled it at around 8 am.

According to the family members of Premananda, he was called out from home in the morning of October 23 by one Thokchom Muhindro who came with Deban.

Representatives of the JAC formed by the villagers in connection with the murder of Premananda who are agitating since yesterday who called on with SP of Imphal east Th Radheshyam and works minister K Ranjit had agreed to suspend their agitations after the later assured them of investigation into the matter.
