Imphal, June 15 2009: Five dead bodies of youths killed by security forces since June 8 are still lying at RIMS morgue as unclaimed bodies even as one was disposed off by the Imphal Municipality Authorities today.

The dead body of the suspected militant killed by a combined team of Thoubal police commandos and troops of 20 Assam Rifles in June 8 last at a place on the stretch of the Pallel-Unapal has been disposed by the Imphal Municipality authority today as none turn up to identified and claim the dead body.

The identity of the youth killed by the Imphal east police commandos on the night of June 12 at Top Khewa Bazar is yet to establish and still lying as unclaimed dead body at RIMS morgue.

Dead bodies of the two persons killed by the troops of 19 Assam Rifles at Lokchao area on June 13 in what they claimed killed in encounter are also lying at RIMS morgue as their respective are yet to come and identify them.

The dead bodies of the two more persons handed over by the Assam Rifles authority stating that they were killed in gunfight by the troops of 29 Assam Rifles on the same day in the evening at a place at Bongli and Bulcha also lying unidentified at the morgue.
