Imphal, January 14 2009: WITH THE identification of the man killed by Imphal west police commandos at Laingam Khul under Lamshang police station on January 12 night as Laishram Dilip, family has alleged that he was killed after picked up by the police from Khuman Lampak along with one of his local friends.

Meanwhile, the identities of the two men, one killed at Kheikhu last night by the Imphal east police commandos and that of the suspected PREPAK killed by a the Red Shield Division at Khoupum on the night of January 12 were also established.

Police handed over the dead bodies after post mortem at RIMS morgue today.

26 year-old Laishram Dilip, son of L Muhindro of Sekmaijin Keithel had gone out from his rented house at Khoyathong Polem Leikai in the morning along with the tenant's son Pukhrabam Shyamson (26) in a car (MN-01K-8463) hired from his brother in-law for getting admit her daughter to a school, family said today.

He was a driver of his own 407 tata and earning livelihood by engaging in transportation of goods for others.

The duo has been picked up by the police personnel from Khuman Lampak at around 1pm of that day.

After handing over Shyamson to the Wangoi police station, Dilip was gunned down after carrying upto Laingam Khul, alleged the family who turned up to receive the dead body at RIMS morgue today.

After performing postmortem, the family took the dead body for last rite.

On the other hand, the identity of the man killed by the troops of Army and AR under Red Shield Division at Khoubum in Tamenglong district on the night of January 12 as Naorem Rabichandra (15) son of N Modhu.

According to the family, he had not returned back home after leaving in the June last year.

The youth killed by the Imphal east police commandos at Keikhu under Porompat police station was identified as Md Ayub Ali (30) son of Md Yusup Ali of Keirao Makha Leikai.

He was survived by his wife and three children.

According to the family he failed to return back after going out from his rented house at Hatta with one of his friend.

After family refused to receive, the dead body is still lying at RIMS morgue.
