Imphal, March 23 2010: Yairipok police station has been reportedly informed by locals of two bodies lying near Kaprang Luluaku village in a Senapati district hill range.

Confirming that information regarding discovery of the lifeless corpses has been received, a police source, however, said as the matter is yet to be officially confirmed no arrangement had been made till late evening to retrieve the same.

The place where the bodies had been spotted is said to be beyond a hill range close to Nongpok Sekmai village of Thoubal district.

Another source conveyed that villagers of Leihaoram, under Ukhrul district spotted the bodies about five kilometres from the village yesterday and subsequently relayed the information to the police station concerned.

In another development, information has been received here regarding movement of a combined security team of 15 Assam Rifles and 21 Para troopers in the direction of Kharal village, apparently to conduct search operations.
