Imphal, January 21 2009: POLICE COMMANDOS killed two more suspected militants in a joint operation with troops of Assam Rifles tonight taking the dead toll in security forces counter insurgency operation to three in different part of the state today.

The incident of killing the two suspects took place at an inter-village road connecting Makhan village with Kanglatongbi under Sekmai police station this late evening at around 6.30 pm.

Earlier Imphal west commandos had killed one suspect at Heingang during the day time.

Police recovered an AK-47 rifle with a magazine.
