Imphal, November 16 2008: THE GRENADE attack at a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) tower belonging to Aircel located at Wangkheimayum Leirak in Imphal East yesterday around 6.45 pm was carried out by a special team of the party, Ibungo Ngangom, Chief Project Officer cum Secretary, Information and Public Relation Department of KCP claimed.

It was done after receiving orders from the competent authority as the mobile service provider in question had been found acting against the party's interest, Ibungo Ngangom stated.

In a clarification note made available to the offices of newspapers in Imphal, Ibungo Ngangom informed, rather intimidated that if the offices concerned of the Aircel do not come in contact with the party by November 20 instant, and if they are found to be continuing their anti-party acts despite the grenade attack at their property, the next resort would be fatal.
